AJ Styles says Talking Smack revealed things to the fans about the wrestlers.

Last week, WWE canceled the weekly editions of Talking Smack on the WWE Network. Reports have surfaced on the reason behind the cancellation but regardless the cancellation was abrupt and unpopular with fans and host Renee Young. He was asked about the importance of the show and Styles said the revealing nature of the show did good things for the product.

"Not only can you further storylines, you also get to talk about things that are really on your mind. Sometimes we may say stuff that gets us in a little bit of trouble. But at the same time, this is what's going on in our head and also what's going on in the ring. I said some things then I was like 'oh, I might get in trouble for this one,'" said Styles. "That's why it's a must watch,  you don't know exactly what's going to happen next...There's not questions received early so we don't know what we're going to be asked. It's like 'let's just go at it,'" he continued.

Talking Smack was not completely canceled. WWE kept the post pay-per-view editions of the show which includes WWE Battleground on Sunday.

Also during the interview, Styles was asked about his opinion of Shinsuke Nakamura coming to Smackdown after their history facing each other in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
