Alexa Bliss Used To Panic Before Cutting Promos

You wouldn't likely find many that would call Alexa Bliss hesitant on the microphone these days, but that wasn't always the case.

The now-seemingly natural Bliss has captured Women's Championships on both Raw and Smackdown, and ended up being one of the strongest promos along the way. According to Bliss herself, she used to go into a panic over having to cut promos at the Performance Center.

“I would have anxiety over our promo classes and I would panic and I was just terrible on the microphone. But the fact we had classes every week I was able to gain in confidence and learn how to speak in front of an audience, be it 500, 5000 or 50,000. Our promo coach was WWE legend, the late Dusty Rhodes, and he would talk about trying new things and getting out of our comfort zone. He was a huge influence for me," Bliss told News Hub.

Outside of a universally panned "This is your Life" segment, Bliss has received high marks for her promo work on Raw and Smackdown since her debut in 2016.

Bliss faced on Sasha Banks at WWE Great Balls of Fire Sunday night.
