Booker T To Remain On Raw Commentary Desk Through The Summer

WWE viewers will continue to hear a Hall of Famer's voice every week.

In April, Booker T was originally brought in to temporary replace David Otunga, who is filming a movie. He has said he was called by Michael Cole when WWE asked him to fill in the spot and it was his duty to help on commentary. Co-Host of Heated Conversations with Booker T, Brad Gilmore tweeted Booker T told him he would be at the commentary booth for longer than expected.

Otunga was originally supposed to be off commentary a little more than four weeks, but now that seems to have been extended by a couple more months. Booker T has been appearing on Raw and some of the panels during pay-per-view pre-shows.

On a recent episode of his radio show, Booker T said he was excited to be back commentating and he was having fun doing it. Also during the podcast, Booker T and his co-host previewed WWE Backlash and recent news in mixed-martial-arts. Current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jinder Mahal was interviewed and asked about his match against Randy Orton.  Booker T said he expected Mahal to be victorious at WWE Backlash and since the episode was recorded Mahal became champion
