In the Rolling Stone article, they also debuted a teaser trailer for the mystery wrestler, but played Damien Sandow's former entrance music from, which was Handel’s “Messiah."

Sandow further confirmed the news of him being added to TNA when he posted this tweet on August 10. He also later commented on the signing.

""TNA just seemed like the perfect spot for me," Sandow said. "They are a growing company with a proven track record. I really believe that they have their finger on the pulse of what the audience wants, and they will gear their product towards that. I really was not planning on signing with anybody this soon, I was serious about that. But the way the conversations went with several TNA officials, and the strong feeling of a family atmosphere, really made me want to explore the possibility of getting in the ring sooner than I expected."

Sandow not only was a former Tag Team Champion in WWE with The Miz when Sandow was known as Damien Mizdow, but he was also a Money in the Bank winner in 2013. He was unsuccessful in cashing it in on John Cena for Cena's World Heavyweight Championship. He was released by WWE on May 6, 2016.
