Dana White Says Ryan Bader Going To Bellator MMA

UFC Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader may no longer be a free agent in the MMA world, at least if UFC President Dana White is to be believed.

White, while talking to Radio Row on the eve of UFC Fight Night 104, has a good idea where the light heavyweight veteran is signing with.

“We had told Ryan Bader he was good to go,” White said today on Radio Row. “We knew he was going to go to Bellator the entire time. I think Bellator is a good place for Ryan Bader. At this point in his career, I think it’s the right move for him.”

Bader recently stated that he was waiting to receive and offer from the Viacom owned promotion and apparently the offer he received isn’t going to be matched by the UFC.

Bader (22-5-0) has spent a grand total of eight-plus years in the UFC, with some big victories coming over the likes of Vinny Magalhaes, Keith Jardine, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Vladimir Matyushenko, Rafael Cavalcante, Ovince St. Preux, Phil Davis, Ilir Latifi and Rashad Evans. Bader’s last fight in the promotion came at UFC Fight Night 100 in November 2016, where he defeated Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in their rematch by third round TKO.
