Daniel Bryan Name-Dropped Ring Of Honor On Talking Smack Last Night

Daniel Bryan is at it again.

Last November during The WWE State of the Union, Bryan name dropped TNA, saying that Mick Foley wrestled there after his WWE career was over, and maybe Bryan might have the same option at other promotions when his contract is up.

People were shocked he made such an obvious reference to a competitor of WWE.

Now, on last night’s edition of WWE’s Talking Smack, while talking to AJ Styles, Bryan brought up the fact that AJ refused to shake Shane McMahon's hand when Bryan asked him to after their Contract Signing, which you can watch above.

He then made a seemingly innocent off-the-cuff remark:

Another reference to a WWE competitor. Naughty naughty, Daniel Bryan.

Both Bryan and Styles are, of course, veterans of the Honorable Ring, and Bryan was referring to the ROH Code of Honor, which is defined as, “an understood act intended to promote sportsmanship, respect and honor inside the wrestling ring. The Code of Honor is defined by shaking hands before and after every match.”

No word on if the Code of Honor had a passage deleted that talked about name-dropping other promotions on your company's airtime.
