DON'T WORRY, YOU GUYS
THE WWE TOTALLY KNOWS WHAT A
'HOUSE OF HORRORS' MATCH IS,
WHICH IS WHY THEY'RE ASKING YOU
TO BOOK IT FOR THEM

Last week on the post-Mania episode of SmackDown, Bray Wyatt showed up on the Titantron to challenge Randy Orton to a 'House of Horrors' match.

"What the hell is a House of Horrors match?" said every single wrestling fan everywhere. "Does it have PROJECTOR WORMS?"

Well, as it turns out, maybe.

You see, the WWE has no effing clue what a House of Horrors match is, and they're asking certain fans to help them figure it out.

Kate from Make It Loud is just such one of those fans and she tweeted this out today:

There are three open-ended questions in their survey:

  • 1.) What interesting things would you expect to see at a House of Horrors match? (Please be as specific as possible.)
  • 2.) What else would you expect to see at a House of Horrors match? (Please be as specific as possible.)
  • 3.) Do you have any final thoughts on what you would want to see as part of the upcoming House of Horrors match between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton?

Okay, first thing. That is the same question three times.

Second thing: The WWE has no idea what a House of Horrors match is.

They did do a little brainstorming session, though, and came with a list of possible things that would be in a House of Horrors match, and they'd like to see if you agree:

Number one, I love that there is an option for "Nothing Different" because that might as well be the long term SLOGAN for WWE at this point.

And number two, does it strike anyone else as odd that something as vague as "Music" or "Darkness" is a possibility, but something as specific as "Pitch forks" is also an option.

I wonder if those "Pitch forks" will be wielded by "Sheeple." Hopefully it's not too "Creepy/Scary" otherwise I might have nightmares.

I am also glad to see that they are admitting that the PROJECTOR WORMS were just that, and not dark magic or whatever, and also glad to see that they're sticking to their guns on this one, even after the agreed-upon consensus response the last time they were used was "HA HA WHAT?"

Because remember, the WWE listens to their fans.

I know because they told me so.
