Exclusive: Ball In Hulk Hogan's Court To Return To WWE

There have been a lot of rumors as of late about the eventual, if not inevitable return of Hulk Hogan to WWE in some capacity.  I’ve been told by sources close to Hogan that the decision appears to lie with him.  WWE has reached out to Hogan expressing their interest in a renewed working relationship since last summer, and Vince McMahon himself has called Hogan with that sentiment.  I’m told that Hogan is unsure about a return as he’s in a good place financially following the Gawker settlement as well as the botched laser spine surgery settlement that we reported here exclusively.  I’m also told that he’s out of shape currently and back over the 300 pound mark.

It was announced on July 24, 2015 that WWE had terminated Hogan’s contract and severed ties with him  after a report was published by RadarOnline.com and The National Enquirer stating that Hogan had used racial slurs in a conversation taped as part of the sex video that was subject to the invasion of privacy lawsuit against Gawker.  WWE subsequently removed references to Hogan from its website and online shop but did not remove him from their Hall of Fame archive.

Following Hogan’s settlement with Gawker last November, rumors heated up about a return.  Will Hogan be bitten by the “wrestling bug” one more time?  Time will tell.
