The UFC confirmed that a planned fight between Ian Entwistle and Brett Johns has been removed from the UFC Fight Night 107 event. The bout was canceled after Ian Entwistle was hospitalized today, and medical professionals recommended the fight be canned.
The 30-year old Entwistle has been unable to stay in the cage during his nearly three year UFC career, only fighting three times. Since December 2014, Entwistle has only managed to compete once, which was a TKO loss last April. Entwistle missed weight Friday, and has withdrawn from multiple fights during his run.
Entwistle subsequently retired from MMA after this weekend's incident.
