Former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jax Dane is headed to Impact Wrestling.

Dane will be working the promotion's next set of tapings, which begins tonight and will continue every night until Sunday, April 23.

Dane was set for an event for AML Wrestling, an independent promotion in North Carolina, but AML announced via Twitter that Dane would no longer be able to attend, as well as the reason why:

Dane had a reign of almost 14 months as NWA champion, defeating Hiroyoshi Tenzan to win the title. He also is a former NWA World Tag champion, teaming with former WWE star and multi-time NWA champ Rob Conway to win those titles. Since his NWA singles reign ended, Dane made a couple of appearances for Ring Of Honor, competing in last year's version of the Survival of the Fittest tournament. He is close friends with Raymond Rowe, one-half of the War Machine tag team.
