Dennis Galarza and Cesar Valenzuela meet on PBC for a scheduled eight rounds on September 27, 2016 on Fox Sports 1.
Valenzuela comes forward early and attempts to get Galarza on the ropes. Galarza tries to establish the jab and uses the check left hook to the body. Valenzuela comes back with shots but Galarza does a good job evading them.
In round 4 Valenzuela attacks Galarza with the right hand but Valenzuela does not stop there and lands combinations that hurt Galarza in round 5. Galarza attempts to be more aggressive in round 7 but Valenzuela moves forward and stays in control. In round 8 Valenzuela exhausts Galarza by landing shots to the head and body.
