Goldberg may have worked himself into a work-shoot.
On Monday night's episode of Raw, Paul Heyman officially challenged former World Heavyweight Champion and WCW Champion Bill Golbderg to a match on behalf of Brock Lesnar.
Goldberg's last match was over twelve years ago at WrestleMania 20, when he defeated Lesnar in a match that underwhelmed many fans. It was Goldberg's last WWE appearance ever, and Lesnar's final WWE match for 8 years.
Goldberg also announced on Twitter he'd be at Raw next week.
Goldberg is featured in the new WWE 2K17 video game. The video games have traditionally opened the doors for WWE to work with several talents, including Sting, Ultimate Warrior, Brock Lesnar, and the estate of Randy Savage.
Heyman laid down the gauntlet, claiming Goldberg was the only blemish on Lesnar's record. He challenged Goldberg to face Lesnar "any time, any where."
