Jim Ross Thinks The Hardys Would Be 'A Great Addition To The WWE Roster'

Jim Ross would like to see Jeff and Matt Hardy in WWE, if the creative was right.

As reported, the Hardy brothers are not going to re-sign with Impact Wrestling. In his blog from Monday, Ross discussed their options and potential when they leave.

"Anxious to see where the Hardy Boys wind up but make no mistake that they will have no issues finding, viable work from a variety of promoters. Matt and Jeff would be a great addition to a WWE roster specifically if WWE is committed to Hardy friendly creative for the duo who started in WWE and who I would suggest should wind up there when the time comes. This is a big loss for Impact if this goes down this way," wrote Ross.

WWE has made a habit of signing more outside talent over the last year including Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe, and AJ Styles. Some other talents have chosen to stay away from WWE like Will Osprey. Ross says professional wrestling outside of WWE might tempt The Hardys to not sign with WWE.

"This would be a significant 'get' for WWE if WWE can close the deal. But make no mistake, with the Indy scene as it currently it, Matt and Jeff and create plenty of good paydays doing their own thing especially when it pertains to their merchandise business. Expect more talents to likely leave Impact Wrestling as that is the norm for the biz when creative and management changes are made. It's akin to a sports team replacing their coaching staff with a new one. The new style/philosophy doesn't always fit for all the incumbent talents," wrote Ross.

Both men held tag-team and singles championships within WWE and also helped innovate the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match. The two left WWE in 2010, and have spent the majority of the time since in Impact Wrestling. In the rest of his blog, Ross would discuss Beth Phoenix joining WWE's hall of fame and Seth Rollins' injury.
