John Cena could be facing even more time off.
The 15-time world champion has been off WWE TV for nearly two months as he left the road to film his Fox show, American Grit. Cena isn't expected back until December 26, but may end up leaving shortly after.
Variety is reporting that Cena has landed a lead role in Kay Cannon's The Pact. Leslie Mann of Knocked Up and This Is 40, as well as Ike Barinholtz have also been cast.
The film is described as "three parents who, upon discovering that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginities on prom night, go out and try and stop them before it's too late."
Cena has wrestled approximately four months since November 2015, as he missed substantial time filming the first season of American Grit before being sidelined with an injury.
