Welp.

Darewolf's gotta Darewolf, I guess.

Lucha Underground star and former Trios Champ, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, has suffered serious injuries in a base jumping accident.

Again.

Yes, back in October, Black (who wrestled in WWE as Justin Gabriel) broke both his ankles in a base jumping accident in his native South Africa. You can see photos of the injuries (if that's your thing) at the bottom of the page.

And now, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, in a new accident, Black has suffered a broken leg, a broken hand and even lost a finger, forcing him to cancel his upcoming bookings, including the House of Hardcore tour of Australia.

The sad thing is, he just had surgery to deal with arthritis in his joints and said he'd be back in time for tapings of Lucha Underground's 4th Season.

"Stitches came out today! Early Arthritis in all my joints from 20 years of wrestling. Oh the things I do to my body to entertain you people. I wouldn't change a thing and I'll be back just in time for Lucha Underground season 4 tapings!"

But now, who knows when he'll be ready to step back into a ring.

On Lucha Underground, PJ Black is a member of The Worldwide Underground, along with Jack Evans, Ricky Mandel and the recently engaged Johnny Mundo and Taya. The stable is consistently one of the highlights of the show--as you can see in the above video.

PJ Black, the character, is supposed to be some kind of a reckless daredevil. Who knew that PJ Black, the real guy, was a method actor.

And in case you are among the uninitiated when it comes to base jumping, THIS is how PJ Black likes to spend his free time:

Looks like it could be fun. Unless, of course, something goes wrong and you break your leg and lose a finger. (If you want to see him cliff diving with Jimmy Uso, click here.)

All of us at Fightful wish PJ the best in a speedy recovery. The Worldwide Underground won't be the same without you.
