Madison Square Garden's UFC 205 keeps getting weirder and weirder.

Robbie Lawler and Al Iaquinta have already been forced off of UFC 205, and now it appears that a possible lightweight title match is too.

According to UFC Tonight, Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez was sent a bout agreement to defend his title against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 205. He didn't do that in time, and instead has been sent a new bout agreement to compete at UFC 206 in Toronto against Khabib. Alvarez had been trying to land a 155 pound title fight with 145-pound champion Conor McGregor. McGegor is rehabbing a leg injury.

Frankie Edgar vs. Jeremy Stephens, Tim Boetsch vs. Rafael Natal, Liz Carmouche vs. Katlyn Chookagian have all been announced for the show, to compliment Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum, Tim Kennedy vs. Rashad Evans and Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen Thompson.

There is a press conference next Tuesday at Madison Square Garden to announce the full main card. UFC 205 takes place on November 12 from Madison Square Garden in New York City, while UFC 206 is on December 10 from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
