More Fights Set For Invicta FC 22

A trio of fights have been added to next months Invicta Fighting Championships 22 card as Jodie Esquibel faces DeAnna Bennett, Sunna Rannveig Davidsdottir faces Mallory Martin and Kalyn Schwartz faces Miranda Maverick.

Esquibel (5-2-0) has won three of five fights under the Invicta FC banner, defeating Liz McCarthy, Jinh Yu Frey and Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc. The only two losses Esquibel has suffered in her professional MMA career came to a pair of UFC veterans in Amber Brown and Alexa Grasso.

Bennett (8-2-0) will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to Livia Renata Souza and Roxanne Modaferri. Bennett started off her pro MMA career on an eight fight winning streak, which includes a win over UFC veteran Julianna Pena.

Davidsdottir (1-0-0) made her professional MMA debut at Invicta FC 19, defeating Ashley Greenway by unanimous decision. Davidsdottir also won four fights as an amateur, including the 2015 IMMAF European Open Championships.

Martin (1-0-0) made her professional MMA debut in late 2016, defeating Heqin Lin by unanimous decision at Kunlun Fight MMA 7. Martin also went undefeated during her time as an amateur fighter, which includes an appearance in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

Schwartz (1-0-0) made her professional MMA debut last year at Invicta FC 20, where she submitted Tiffany an Soest in the second round of their fight. Schwartz also went undefeated as an amateur and she is the former King Of The Cage Amateur Women’s Flyweight Champion.

Maverick (1-0-0) also made her professional MMA debut at Invicta FC 20, where she defeated Samantha Diaz by first round submission. Maverick did go winless as an amateur MMA fighter, dropping a fight to Samantha Gilliland in April 2016.

Invicta Fighting Championships 22 takes place on Saturday, March 25 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya headlining.
