Natalya Says Nikki Bella, Shayna Baszler, Beth Phoenix, Kaitlyn, Jade Messaged Her About Ladder Match

According to one Superstar, the interest within the wrestling industry for tonight's women's ladder match is high.

Former WWE Divas Champion Natalya spoke to TV Insider about tonight's ladder match at Money in the Bank. During the interview, she said that several names in women's wrestling contacted her in regards to the announcement of the match.

"I got texts from Nikki Bella, Sasha Banks. I got messages from Beth Phoenix, Eve Torres, Kaitlyn. So many who were also from the past in WWE. Then women from the independents reached out to me like Shayna Baszler, Mia Yim, Nikki Matthews, Sumie Sakai. So many different women were like, ‘Wow, this is amazing!’ It’s incredible. It’s a testament to how far we’ve come and are going to go," said Natalya.

While it may seem cliche, Natalya hopes to steal the show, and knows there's a ton of pressure on herself and the other women to make the best of the opportunity.

"Without giving too much away, myself and everyone involved are determined to steal the show. We have every intention of doing that…it's historical. I was part of the first-ever women's tables match in 2010 with Beth Phoenix, Michelle McCool and Layla. I remember wondering how I would wrestle around a table. It was hard to wrap my head around what we were doing there." said Natalya.

Natalya also revealed that she's not going into the match completely blind, as she's been practicing with the pertinent tools.

"A few days ago I worked with ladders for six hours. I'm not going to even tell you how much my body hurts. I thought my body hurt deadlifting and doing all my powerlifting. I'll tell you one thing. If you want a good workout, then start lifting ladders. I'm still really sore. Then I woke up the next day with all these bruises. I realized it was from lifting the ladder. They are really cumbersome. It's not like WWE is saying, 'You are girls, so we are going to give you the smaller ladder.' No, we are lifting the same ladders as the guys do. I feel like all the work in the gym has been paying off."
