They get back to their feet and exchange hammer locks before Tana takes SANADA down, but he hops right back up. SANADA extends his hand to shake Tana’s, but they both try to kick each other, catching each others kicks before Tana catches SANADA coming in and drops him repeatedly until he rolls out of the ring to regroup. Tana wants to do a High Fly Flow, but SANADA wisely goes around the other side of the ring so he can't. Tana invites SANADA back in the ring, holding the ropes, but SANADA just flips over them, then shows off his athleticism by jumping over Tana repeatedly, then hitting him with a cross body over the top rope as we go to commercial.

They get back in the ring and exchange forearms in the corner until Tana drops SANADA with a flying back elbow when he catches SANADA coming in, following up with a senton and a flipping senton for a quick two count. Tana sends SANADA out of the ring onto the apron, but when he tries to get back in Tana hits a dragon screw leg whip and a sling blade from the apron. Tana hits a High Fly Flow onto SANADA on the outside before they skip ahead in the match with them exchanging flurries of forearms until Tana counters a Skull End with a series of roll ups, then counters another one with a spinning neckbreaker. Tana counters yet another attempt with a sling blade and a snap dragon suplex for a near fall. Tana then hits a High Fly Flow to the back of SANADA before rolling him over and hitting another one for the pin and the win.

Winner: Hiroshi Tanahashi via pinfall

Tetsuya Naito vs Jay Lethal IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match

Lethal tries to lock up with Naito to start the match, but he keeps avoiding him until Lethal drops him and sends him out of the ring before hitting three topes and mocking Naito by posing like him on the apron. Lethal rolls Naito back into the ring and hits a neckbreaker for a quick two count before taking him down repeatedly, finishing with a cartwheel into a dropkick for another quick two count. Lethal chops Naito in several corners before Naito catches him coming in and sets him on the top rope. Naito kicks Lethal over the top rope before posing and playing to the crowd before going out after Lethal and beating on him with punches and stomps, rolling back in and relaxing for a few moments before going back out and doing it again. Naito then whips Lethal into the railing repeatedly before walking around, then rolling back in the ring, seemingly content with a count out victory.

Lethal gets back in the ring at the count of eighteen, then comes back with an enzuigiri and European uppercuts before Naito rakes his eyes and forces him down onto the mat. Naito hits a dropkick into a neckbreaker for a quick two count before locking in a rear chin lock before Lethal comes back with a cutter out of nowhere as we go to commercial

Lethal comes back with a series of strikes as we come back from commercial until he hits a spinebuster for a near fall. Naito counters a back suplex into a reverse atomic drop before hitting his leg sweeping dropkick in the corner. Lethal counters a frankensteiner before Naito counters into a reverse STO and locks in an Indian death lock, Lethal quick to crawl to the ropes for the break. Lethal counters Destino and hits the Lethal Combination when he catches Naito coming off of the ropes. Naito counters a suplex before he goes for a tornado DDT, but Lethal counters that into a Death Valley driver for a near fall, then hits a series of back suplexes before setting Naito backwards on the top rope.

Naito fights him off, but Lethal dropkicks him once he does, then Lethal hits a superplex for a near fall. Naito hits a tornado DDT and a springboard missile dropkick before finishing with a frankensteiner and a pump handle back suplex for a near fall. Lethal counters Destino, but Naito hits a rolling kick before Lethal drops him with a running forearm. They exchange forearms until Naito counters a second Lethal Combination with a brainbuster for a quick two count, then Lethal hits a reverse Green Bay plunge into across face. Naito then gets his foot on the bottom rope for the break as we go to commercial.

We come back from commercial with Lethal suplexing Naito onto the apron before rolling him back into the ring, hitting Hail to the King before hitting a buckle bomb and a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Naito counters the Lethal Injection before Lethal counters Destino, then Naito counters another Lethal Injection and ends up hitting Destino for the pin and the win.

Winner: Tetsuya Naito via pinfall
