Raw Viewership Up Big For Goldberg Return

Bill Goldberg equals ratings, apparently.

This week's WWE Raw viewership jumped big time, drawing 3.130 million viewers. This is the first time Raw has been over three million viewers since before football season, and is over 13% higher than last week's 2.758 million viewes.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, hour one drew 3.167 million, hour two did 3.106 million viewers, and hour three landed at 3.118 million viewers. Typically hour three sees a giant drop off.

Monday's Raw ended up #4 for the night in cable viewership behind NFL's Monday Night Football, MLB Playoffs and The O'Reilly Factor. Raw is likely to land at number 2 with regularity after election season is over. Raw was #2 in the 18-49 demographic, only trailing Monday Night Football.

This week's episode of Raw featured the return of Bill Goldberg to WWE programming after a 12 and a half year absence. Also on the program was a match between Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho.
