Rusev Reportedly Out For Extended Period Of Time; Big Show Divulges Possible Reason

Tragedy has struck.

Our beloved Handsome Rusev, erstwhile rider of tanks and schooler of Wendy's managers, is hurt.

According to a report in the Wrestling Observer, Rusev will be out of action for "some time to come." They can't confirm the reason, but they did note that Big Show has said that Rusev needs shoulder surgery--and he's been telling people that's reason why he was so merciless with Rusev during their match at Fastlane, where he KO Punched an already semi-conscious Rusev in the turnbuckles.

Big show apparently divulged that information to a fan at a recent signing.

We've known Rusev was taking some time away from the ring, but we didn't know how long, and we didn't know the reason. We still don't I guess, but now at least we have a possible cause.

Rusev did not appear on Raw last week, the night after his loss to Big Show, and he tweeted out a statement one week prior which said that he would be taking some time off from the gym to rest.

Again, none of this is confirmed, but if Rusev truly does require shoulder surgery, we can only hope the prognosis is better than Finn Balor's was--the former Universal Champ was out for 6 and a half months before returning this past weekend.

We'll keep you updated with more as it develops.
