UFC Ultimate Fighter 15 alumni Dakota Cochrane is facing Maki Pitolo in the main event of Victory Fighting Championships 58, the contest will take place at welterweight.
Cochrane (28-12-0) has won just one of his last three fights, with that lone win coming over David Castillo at Victory FC Fight Nights Harrah’s 5. Cochrane also fought twice in Bellator MMA, dropping a pair of bouts to Ryan Couture and Alexander Sarnavskiy. Cochrane was a cast member on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, but lost in the opening round of the reality show to James Vick.
Pitolo (8-3-0) has won three of four in VFC competition, with those three wins coming over Andrews Nakahara, Justin Guthrie and Kassius Holdorf. Pitolo is a former VFC Welterweight Champion, just recently losing the belt back to the aforementioned Kassius Holdorf in their rematch at VFC 54. Pitolo is going to be facing the first UFC/TUF veteran in his professional MMA career.
