A bantamweight division attraction will be headlining the Combate Americas: Tuscon event as UFC veteran Roman Salazar will be in action against Ricky Palacios.

Salazar (10-5-0-1NC) went winless during his three fights under the UFC banner, suffering defeats to Mitch Gagnon and Marlon Vera, while also fighting Norifumi Yamamoto to a no contest. Salazar has only won just one fight in the last two-plus years, that win came over Gilberto Aguilar at World Fighting Federation 32. Salazar will be making his Combate Americas debut, primarily competing in both the UFC and World Fighting Federation.

Palacios has only seen two of his eight fights as a pro go the distance, but he is also undefeated in fights that go to the judge’s scorecards.

Combate Americas: Tuscon will be taking place on Thursday, April 20 from the Casino Del Sol in Tuscon, Arizona with Roman Salazar and Ricky Palacios headlining. The card will be airing live in North America on UFC Fight Pass.
