Becky Lynch Explains Why She Has No Interest In Total Divas Or Dating Wrestlers

Don't expect to see Becky Lynch appearing on Total Divas, or dating someone else in the WWE locker room.

In an appearance on Jim Ross' podcast, The Ross Report, Lynch explained why she prefers to keep her life outside of the ring private.

Lynch told JR that being on Total Divas first came up shen she was called onto the main roster in 2015 as part of the "Divas Revolution" along with Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair.

"For me, I don't think that is in my future, and I appreciate what it's done for the other girls. I think I would like to keep my real life separate to wrestling. I just do not foresee me on any sort of reality TV show," she said.

Ross then switched topics to locker-room romances, noting how, when he was running WWE's talent relations, he would advice newly signed females from dating fellow wrestlers. That's advice that Lynch agreed with, based on her comments.

"I would like to keep [dating] separate from my own personal life," Lynch said. "I just feel like everybody ends up becoming like a family member … I always want to keep my work life so drama-free, so however I can do that, that I can go in, not have any awkwardness with anybody. Not have any fights. Just that everything's about the work."

Lynch was dating UFC fighter Luke Sanders for a lengthy period of time.

See Lynch in action August 19 at Summerslam as she faces champion Carmella and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat for the Smackdown Women's Title. Fightful.com will have live, ongoing coverage of Summerslam, along with a post-show podcast hosted by Managing Editor Sean Ross Sapp.
