Jericho came to the ring with a brand new theme song and titantron on the April 24 episode of Dynamite, just days after defeating HOOK for the FTW Championship at AEW Dynasty. Jericho briefly discussed the match at Dynasty before he was interrupted by Big Bill.

Bill came to the ring and pleaded his case to join Jericho's Learning Tree, noting that he was the perfect fit for the opportunity. To close the segment, Jericho agreed to think about letting Bill sit under the learning tree.
