Bandido Had To Scramble To Put Together Gear For AEW Debut

Things were wild for Bandido last week.

We're told that the booking to get Bandido on AEW last week was very last minute -- announced two days before -- largely because of issues surrounding the Hurricane. This left Bandido in an unusual situation.

He was traveling from one place, while his gear was in another place. His gear was unable to get to Philadelphia. We're told that he tried to make calls to get gear brought in that he recently auctioned, but that it wasn't plausible. Instead, Bandido had to travel around Philadelphia in order to find gear that would work, and even had to borrow some of the aspects of his outfit. The tape that he ended up using was akin to masking tape.

He fortunately had a mask that he was able to bring with him.

All ended up going well during the match, to the point to where he impressed AEW higher ups that already were aware of what he's capable of. One source we spoke to said they were very impressed with his demeanor considering that he was in a tough position.

Bandido was offered an AEW deal after the match, and was said to have been incredible to deal with at the show and surrounding it.
