WWE made a historic tour of South Africa and the main roster returned to the road in full force this past week.
This week also marked the first house shows for the main roster since WrestleMania, which also included the first title defenses for new Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander, new Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax and new Smackdown Tag Champions the Bludgeon Brothers.
The Raw crew, which is in the midst of a brutal travel stretch, went to South Africa for four shows. They then returned to St. Louis for last night's Raw, then got back on planes for the Greatest Royal Rumble this coming Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
Smackdown was in action in the Southeast U.S., with all three events topped by a WrestleMania rematch between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Title. The finishes were the same; Nakamura got disqualified for low blowing the champ.
NXT had two different crews in action. The touring roster included new NXT champ Aleister Black, who defended against the man he dethroned, Andrade Almas. Almas was joined by fellow new main roster call-up No Way Jose. The Florida loop of NXT included new Raw additions like Ember Moon and the Authors of Pain. The Florida tour also marked the in-ring debut of Kacy Catanzaro, who worked under her real name. The former American Ninja Warrior standout only reported to WWE in January, making her debut after about three months of training at the Performance Center.
