WWE Smackdown! Live Coverage & Discussion 2/7 The Road To The Elimination Chamber!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE Smackdown Live! Tonight we are on the last stop before WWE Elimination Chamber this Sunday where John Cena will defend his WWE World Championship against five other men in the dreaded Elimination Chamber match! However, before he does so, John Cena sets his sights on the winner of the Royal Rumble, The Viper; Randy Orton! We also have a over the top battle royal to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship and much more so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST for all of the action!

-Daniel Bryan comes out to start the show and talks about the last time he was in Seattle was to announce his retirement and says that he's grateful for being able to be the manager of Smackdown! Live and that he gets to try to give the fans the best show possible. The Miz and Maryse come out next and mocks him, saying that he should become a stay at home dad. Miz asks why he's there since he can't wrestle anymore and says he doesn't know why he's even in the ring. Daniel says that not being able to wrestle never stopped Miz from being in a ring as the crowd cheers. Miz says that Daniel doesn't respect him then Baron Corbin comes out to the ring.

Corbin tells Miz he should learn when to shut up and that he talked too much last week and too much now. Miz says they should work together, but Corbin says he'd rather take him out now so he doesn't have to hear his mouth. Miz asks if he's going to let Corbin talk to Miz like that and then mocks Miz before Dean Ambrose comes out to the ring. Dean says that Corbin and Miz are cute together and that he can't take anything Miz says seriously when he wears the outfit he has on and that he looks like a shoe and that Corbin stole the motorcycle from his entrance music. Dean says that Corbin has miles to walk before he's in his shoes and that he's walking out of The Elimination Chamber match as Intercontinental and WWE World Champion as AJ Styles comes out next.

AJ says that they think we live in a fantasy world where facts don't matter. AJ says that the fact of the matter is that in one point and time he has beaten them all and that he doesn't care what their plans are and all he cares about is getting the title back. Miz says everyone comes to Smackdown! Live to see him then they start arguing before Daniel butts in and says that we should have a fatal four way match that starts right now.

AJ Styles vs Dean Ambrose vs The Miz vs Baron Corbin

Corbin sends Miz and AJ out of the ring then Dean sends Corbin out of the ring. Miz comes back in and Dean drops him then clotheslines him over the top rope and to the floor. AJ comes back in and teases the Styles Clash, but Dean counters and sends AJ to the floor next. Corbin gets a hold of Dean and throws him into the steps then drops Miz with a right hand before putting him back into the ring. AJ is dropped with a right hand in mid-air then he splashes into Miz before Dean comes in and sends him into the post. Miz then hits AJ with a snap DDT for a quick 2 count after dropping Dean. Miz kicks Dean and AJ repeatedly then drops AJ before Dean rolls him up then AJ rolls Dean up, all getting quick 2 counts out of it. Everyone is laid out with AJ and Miz rolling to the outside as we go to commercial.

They hit a tower of doom then Dean is sent to the outside by Corbin as we come back from commercial. Miz kicks Baron in the corner then dropkicks AJ in the corner before Baron hits Miz with the Deep Six for a near fall that AJ breaks up. AJ hits Corbin with a Pele kick then a diving forearm for a quick 2 count, then AJ goes for another Styles Clash, but Miz counters and hits AJ with a knee for a near fall. Dean takes out both AJ and Miz then dives through the ropes and takes out Corbin. Dean hits an elbow off the top rope to Corbin for a near fall that AJ breaks up then AJ hits Destino for a near fall that Miz breaks up. AJ then hits Miz with The Phenomenal Forearm, but Maryse pulls Miz out of the ring as Corbin hits AJ with The End of Days for the pin and the win.

Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall

-We come back to Luke Harper cutting a promo on Randy Orton and how he'll win the Elimination Chamber match. We then get an interview segment with Nikki and Natalya about their match this Sunday. 

Dolph Ziggler vs Apollo Crews

Crews goes right after Dolph immediately then sends him into the post before pounding him in the corner. Dolph then sends Crews into the corner and follows up with a DDT then Crews rolls him up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Apollo Crews via pinfall

-After the match Dolph attacks Crews then grabs a chair and hits him with it before Kalisto comes out and Dolph hits him with the chair next then leaves as we go to commercial.

-We come back to Daniel telling Dolph he's facing Crews and Kalisto in a two on one handicap match this Sunday.

Mickie James & Alexa Bliss come out to the ring then Becky and Naomi do for the contract signing for their match this Sunday. 

Tag Team Turmoil Match

The heels argue while trying to control Gable, but Gable dominates Aiden English early then English makes a comeback, mocking his side then Gable turns it around on him before tagging in Jordan. American Alpha then takes out the entire heel side before Breezango take out The Vaudevillians then the faces argue as we go to commercial.

The Usos are dominating Heath Slater as we come back then English gets tagged back in then he tags in Konnor, the heel team tagging in and out frequently. The heels then fight, Konnor and English fight amongst themselves then Heath tags in Rhyno. Rhyno then takes out Viktor before the ring fills up and American Alpha clear it almost immediately. Gable then dives over the top rope, taking out everyone before Rhyno then spears Konnor, then Viktor dropkicks him for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Ascension via pinfall

John Cena vs Randy Orton

Cena is in control early then teases the AA, but Randy counters and focuses on the hands and feet of Cena as Bray looks on at ringside. Randy then drops Cena with a right hand for a quick 2 count, following up by sending Cena out of the ring. Randy beats on Cena in front of Bray then sends him into the stairs as we go to commercial.

Randy back drops Cena onto the announce table then puts him back into the ring before Cena comes back and they exchange strikes in the center of the ring. Cena then hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle and then the AA for a near fall. Orton then hits Cena with a draping DDT off the top rope, following up with an RKO for a near fall of his own. They tease their finishers again then Cena takes out of the referee by accident and puts Randy in the STF, but Bray comes in and breaks it up then pounds on Cena. Harper comes out and saves Cena then Cena hits Randy with an AA for the pin and the win.

Winner: John Cena via pinfall
