Baron Corbin On Conor McGregor: "I'd Like To Slam Him On His Head A Few Times"

Baron Corbin wouldn't mind taking a crack at Conor McGregor.

As the resident hoss of the Smackdown roster, Baron Corbin is preparing to challenge Dean Ambrose for his WWE Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania 33, but he's not ruling out a future showdown with a UFC champion. In an interview with 105.3 FM in Dallas Texas, Corbin, who was an amateur Golden Gloves champion, said he would dominate the smaller McGregor when giving his opinion on McGregor boxing Floyd Mayweather.

UFC superstars who love soccer and their favourite clubs

"I would go with Mayweather, I mean, the guy is unprecedented, he has zero losses. And he has an ego, I mean who wouldn't, I have an ego, I like to tell everyone 'I'm the best' and carry myself that way, but I mean nobody has touched Floyd and he has created a legacy and Conor McGregor is a professional at running his mouth. I think he's called out a few WWE Superstars, I wouldn't mind taking a crack at Conor McGregor. He's like 165 pounds, 185 pounds soaking wet. So, I would like to slam him on his head a few times," said Corbin. "But, I have to go with Mayweather, they're going into his world. (Mayweather's) speed and agility are unbelievable in the boxing ring, I don't think Conor touches him", he added.

McGregor and Mayweather have been publicly negotiating about a boxing match. Corbin said he hopes the fight happens and Mayweather "shuts up" McGregor. In the rest of the interview Corbin talked about his transition from football to WWE, comparing his football training to WWE, and the early days of his training at the WWE Performance Center.
