Here is your fight size update following TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV and ROH Wrestling on HonorClub for Thursday, May 9, 2024.

Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.

TNA iMPACT!

- During this week's episode of TNA iMPACT!, Mike Santana began a series that will show a sit-down interview with Tom Hannifan. This week's portion spoke in great detail about Santana's journey for these last five years and the decision to go back to TNA.

- The show concluded with Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Seven) defeating ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey). Bailey and Seven will now face each other at a later date to determine who will next challenge Mustafa Ali for the TNA X-Division Title.

- The seeds are being planted for Gisele Shaw's return to the iMPACT! Zone

- Jake Something teamed with Cody Deaner in a losing effort to The Razcalz's Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz in a wild Albany Tornado bout.

- Alan Angels struck out in more ways than one when hosting Sound Check with Kon and Steph De Lander.

- Jonathan Gresham claimed another victim this week by defeating Will Ferrara.

- Ryan Nemeth and Matt Hardy kicked off the show by attacking The System during their Championship Celebration.

- AJ Francis and Rich Swann picked up a tag team victory over The FBI on May 9.

- Ash By Elegance and Xia Brookside are going to fight one more time next week.

Ring of Honor

- This week's episode of Ring of Honor opened up with Matt Taven and Mike Bennett having some fun at the expense of Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang. While no match has been set up between the teams, the war of words is heating up.

- Fans saw more of the evolution of the Premier Athletes. Now, they're making it clear that they want gold.

- In the show's headlining match, Angelico & Serpentico defeated Cole Karter & Griff Garrison. However, Serpentico is still not in possession of his beloved mask.

- Kiera Hogan picked up a big singles victory.

- In women's Trios action, Taya Valkyrie, Diamante, & Mercedes Martinez defeated Leyla Hirsch, Lady Frost, & Abadon

- Lance Archer & The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) defeated a team of superstars that, while they never got in a proper ring announcement, Ian Riccaboni let wrestling fans know that their names were parodies of Motley Crue band member names.

- Praise be he! Nick Comorto has joined Jacoby Watts' fellowship.

- Anthony Ogogo scored an outlandish victory when he defeated Zicky Dice with a knockout shot.

- Rachel Ellering returned to Ring of Honor this week. Unfortunately, Maria Kanellis was right there to tell her that she believes that Ellering doesn't have what it takes to become a draw.

- ROH Women's TV Champion Billie Starkz, who was accompanied by the Ring of Honor Women's World Champion Athena, defeated Dream Girl Ellie in a Proving Ground Match.
