Nic Nemeth Agrees To Defend IWPG Global Title Against David Finlay At 5/4 NJPW Wrestling Dontaku
Nic Nemeth is looking for revenge.
Nic Nemeth successfully defended his IWGP Global Championship at night one of NJPW Wrestling Dontaku, defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event.
After the bout, Nemeth and Tanahashi were attacked by Bullet Club WAR DOGS leader. Once Nemeth got to his feet, he agreed to defend his IWGP Global Title against Finlay at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku night two on May 4.
Nemeth is scheduled to team with Tanahashi to take on Just Five Guys (Taichi & TAKA Michinoku) on May 4. Finlay is scheduled to team with Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney & Gedo to face Los Ingobernables De Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI).
Nemeth defeated Finlay at he New Beginning In Sapporo 2024 to win the IWGP Global Title.
