Independent Wrestler James Castle Passes Away
RIP James Castle.
Fightful is sad to report that Independent wrestler James Castle has passed away after battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Castle’s partner Zoe Lucas made the announcement of his passing.
On Saturday 15th June after 4 years of treatment, 12 rounds of chemotherapy, 2 bone marrow transplants, radio therapy and countless experimental trials we lost Jamie Stacey @JamesCastle49 to Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Castle had not wrestled since 2019, but was active on the UK independent scene where he competed in IPW, Revolution Pro Wrestling, and XWA. He is a former three-time WL Heavyweight Champion. He made his debut in 2013.
