Joe Hendry Appears On 7/9 NXT, Pins Shawn Spears In The Main Event
Joe Hendry appears in the main event of NXT.
Joe Hendry returned to NXT on the July 9th episode, teaming with Trick Williams to take on Shawn Spears & Ethan Page in the main event.
Hendry got the pinfall in the main event, pinning Spears after a Trick Show from Williams and the Standing Ovation.
Oro Mensah got involved, brawling with Page to take him out of the match.

Originally, Williams was scheduled to team with Je’Von Evans against Spears & Page, but Evans was attacked by Brooks Jensen. Teasers for Hendry would drop throughout the night before his appearance. A teaser for Hendry first popped up at NXT Heatwave and was featured in a commercial for Tuesday’s episode.
Fightful Select reported on Tuesday that Hendry was planned for the show.
