Johnny Gargano Gives Tommaso Ciampa A Boost With ‘Glorious Bomb’ Out Of Nowhere, Ciampa Fails To RKO Randy Orton

Johnny Gargano gave Tommaso Ciampa a “Glorious” pick-me-up.

Tommaso Ciampa was been dealing with some setbacks recently. He failed to hit Randy Orton with an RKO out of nowhere on multiple occasions, so much so that The Undertaker called his efforts stupid. Plus, Ciampa and Johnny Gargano lost the WWE Tag Team Championship to Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga of The Bloodline.

Gargano took to Twitter/X on August 14 and noted that he knew Ciampa was down, but he got something that would cheer him up. Robert Roode then popped up, and his “Glorious” theme song played. Gargano and Ciampa smiled, and the return of the “Glorious Bomb” was clearly the boost that they needed. However, the mood shifted as Roode scowled at Ciampa. Ciampa then tried to hit Orton with an RKO out of nowhere, and he failed again.

Gargano and Ciampa have been doing Glorious Bombs started in 2016. At the time, Robert Roode signed with NXT and had one of the catchiest theme songs in all of wrestling, so Gargano and Ciampa would surprise him by playing the theme at random locations.

Roode has been sidelined since September 2022 following neck surgery. He currently works as a producer for WWE.

Gargano and Ciampa previously brought back the “Glorious Bomb” in October 2023. More information is available here.
