Grizzled Young Veterans Say They Are ‘Here To Stay’ In AEW
Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) attacked FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) on the August 31st episode of AEW Collision.
The attack came after FTR defeated Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) in tag team competition. It was the second time in a week Grizzled Young Veterans attacked FTR with the first coming at AEW All In after FTR challenged The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) for the AEW Tag Team Titles in a triple threat match that also included The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens).
After their attack on Collision, GVY stated that for years they’ve been hearing about FTR and the comparisons, so they wanted to come to “where the best wrestle.” The duo said they are “here to stay” in AEW.
