Wednesday News And Notes

– Sources that I’ve spoken to in Impact Wrestling are of the belief that the news of “new contracts” being put out there (and later debunked by SEScoops as being from October), were to help bury the Jeff Jarrett lawsuit news.

– I reached out to WWE in regards to what the “WrestleMania correspondent” role means for Michael Che and Colin Jost, but didn’t get a response back from them.

– We’re told Ronda Rousey’s team didn’t run the “Damn The Man” shirts she’s selling in her online store by WWE IP. Not that anything will likely be done about it. Her lawyer sent PWT a “cease & desist” for selling our “Point at the fucking sign” shirts last month

– The Mandy Rose vs. Naomi segment was actually supposed to run a little bit longer than it did.

– The Tommaso Ciampa news came as a surprise to many in WWE, as WWE kept it very quiet. The first many heard of his neck surgery was Dave Meltzer’s report.

– Dolph Ziggler is advertised for WWE’s UK tour despite being on a “hiatus” at the moment. (Thanks to Rob Wilkins).
