As many have noted, the match between the two former friends will mark the first time since 2006 that a non-title, women’s singles match will take place at WrestleMania.
It will also mark the very first time in the event’s history that a non-title, non-stipulation women’s singles takes place at the event.

The last non-title women’s single match occurred at WrestleMania 22. It featured Torrie Wilson taking on Candice Michelle in a ‘Playboy Pillow Fight.’
Before WrestleMania 22, the last non-title women’s matchup occurred at WrestleMania 16. It was a “catfight” between Terri Runnels and The Kat.
Jade Cargill vs Naomi is a long way away from catfights and pillow fights and it is one of the event’s most anticipated matchups.
