Mariah May Debuts On WWE NXT

NXT just became a little bit more glamorous as of June 3.

During a segment that featured Jacy Jayne’s first address as the NXT Women’s Champion, she was interrupted by Lainey Reid, Lola Vice, Jordynne Grace, Jaida Parker, and Thea Hail. Everyone was staking their claim for the next title shot. A brawl broke out while Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, and Fallon Henley watched on. Suddenly, the lights went out, and high above the ring, a spotlight shined on Mariah May, who was standing on the perch that overlooks the squared circle.

Her name was not mentioned during the broadcast, but she did say that she made the division more glamorous.

Mariah May is a former AEW Women’s World Champion. May hasn’t wrestled for AEW since losing the AEW Women’s Championship to “Timeless” Toni Storm at AEW Revolution. She was removed from the company’s roster page on May 30. Fightful Select reported that May was expected to join WWE.

Fightful will continue to monitor the story and report any updates.
