Adam Page: Having The AEW World Title Hidden For So Long Is Disrespectful To The Entire Roster And Our Fans
Adam Page feels a strong sense of responsibility.
At AEW All In Texas, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page will have the chance to end Jon Moxley’s 270+ day reign as AEW World Champion. Fans have started to rally behind Page to end the stint, with many believing that he’ll be able to pull off what other stars haven’t been able to do.
For Page, he view his win as a potential way to save AEW. Instead, he views it as a way to bring the AEW World Championship back to the public eye, elating fans and the roster in the process.
“Uh, no. No, I don’t think so. Not for me, personally. For me, this championship represents everything good that I felt about All Elite Wrestling and wrestling as a whole. To have that hidden away for so long is disrespectful to, not just the entire roster but to all of our fans. I do feel a sense of responsibility to take that back out.” Page told Jon Alba in a new interview with Sports Illustrated.
Elsewhere in the interview, Page stated that he can’t accept help from Swerve Strickland at AEW All In. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
