Matt Hardy Talks Carlos Silva’s Stint As President Of TNA, Praises Him And Tommy Dreamer For Being ‘No Bullshit Guys’

Matt Hardy gives props to Carlos Silva and Tommy Dreamer.

In February 2025, TNA Wrestling underwent another major organization change, as Anthony Cicione resigned from his position as the president of the company. He was quickly replaced by Carlos Silva.

Since then, many wrestlers and employees of the company have had nothing but praise for Silva. On the latest episode of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy praised Silva and Dreamer for being “no bullshit” guys.

“Yes, absolutely. It’s been a lot more clean, there’s been direct answers. If you are looking to ask up the chain, there’s a very direct line of who you ask. I mean, there’s Tommy Dreamer, there’s Carlos. We know everybody is and what their position is. I’ll be honest, Tommy Dreamer and Carlos, they’re both no bullshit guys, you know what I mean? They’ll give you a straight answer.”

Hardy continued on and implied that the previous regime in TNA didn’t always give straight answers.

“There was some times before where people were kind of not getting straight answers, which is very frustrating. A company doesn’t thrive you’re not getting straight answers. You need two straight shooters that are going to tell you it is how it is and that’s what we have right now. These guys are motivated, they’re straightforward. We have a group of talent that is absolutely amazing. There’s no one doing bullshit politics trying to get ahead of anybody else, it is everybody working together for the greater good. All of our talents are selfless and they want to put on the best show possible. There’s no individual politics like you would see back in WWE hey days or even in AEW, whatever. Everybody is working for the greater good and to put TNA back on the map where it is. If we get a TV deal, it’s a game changer, because we have a hell of a product right now and it is going to change everything for TNA once that happens.”

Carlos Silva recently made a bold claim about TNA, saying that he thinks they can become the #2 wrestling promotion in the world. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
