Adam Cole Says Health Issues Will Keep Him Away ‘For A While’

Adam Cole wasn’t cleared to compete at AEW All In, but he was on the show to relinquish the AEW TNT Championship and give an update on his health.
Cole said he was having health issues that would force him to step away “for a while.” He said he didn’t want to think about retiring because the fans in attendance are the best pro wrestling fans in the world.
Cole got emotional after mentioning retirement while the fans cheered in support.
He thanked the fans for supporting him through all the highs and lows. “I will love you forever.” He went on to thank the fans for making AEW special and for changing his life.
The crowd chanted, “Thank you, Adam.”
