Gabe Kidd Forfeits G1 Climax 35 Bout Due To Knee Injury

Gabe Kidd is sidelined for the time being.
Night two of New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s G1 Climax 35 event began with Gabe Kidd coming out on crutches.
Kidd announced that he hyper-extended his knee and would be forfeiting his second match against Zack Sabre Jr.
Despite being injured, Kidd said he wants to continue in the G1 and plans to return to competition when he is cleared.
Kidd battled Konosuke Takeshita on night one of the tournament on July 19, losing after being choked out.
