TNA Wrestling Announces Elijah Is Out Six To Eight Months, Trey Miguel Out Of TNA Slammiversary

TNA Wrestling gave an injury update on Elijah and Trey Miguel at TNA Slammiversary.

For Elijah, the promotion announced that everything is going well following his triceps surgery and that he is scheduled to rehab for six to eight months before potentially returning.

Elijah suffered the injury on the June 17th episode of WWE NXT when he teamed with Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura to defeat AJ Francis, Trick Williams & Wes Lee. TNA first confirmed his injury on the June 21st episode of TNA iMPACT!

TNA Wrestling also announced that Trey Miguel would be unable to compete at TNA Slammiversary due to a hernia injury. Miguel previously announced that he would undergo hernia surgery following Slammiversary, indicating he would still compete in the ladder match for the TNA Tag Team Titles.

Instead, Myron Reed will take his place, teaming with Zachary Wentz to face The Nemeths (Ryan Nemeth & Nic Nemeth), The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy), and First Class (KC Navarro & AJ Francis).

It is unknown how long Miguel will be sidelined.

Fightful wishes Elijah and Miguel the best as they recover.
