WWE Hall Of Famer And Music Icon Ozzy Osbourne Passes Away

Music icon and rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at age 76.

Osbourne has battled a number of health issues over the years including Parkinson’s disease. He performed for one final time on July 5th in Birmingham called Back To The Beginning. He performed on his black throne as he was unable to stand.

Osbourne was the frontman for Black Sabbath. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Ozzy was inducted as a solo artist in 2024, but was unable to perform at his induction.

In the world of wrestling, Ozzy made multiple appearances on WWE TV, including WrestleMania 2,  where he was a manager for The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & The Dynamite Kid), and as a guest host on WWE Raw in November 2009.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.

WWE uses “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath as the official theme for WarGames, and Ozzy was part of the WWE Survivor Series 2022 cold open.

Along with his contributions to music, Ozzy’s personality endeared him to many fans as he notorously bit off the head off a bat during a live concert in Des Moines, Iowa, and gained new fame and recognition through the reality series “The Osbournes.”

Fightful sends condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Ozzy Osbourne.
