Hulk Hogan suddenly passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. TMZ was first to report the news, with operators stating that they were dispatched to Hogan’s home due to “cardiac arrest.” He was 71 years old.
Due to his influence and importance to the early era of professional wrestling, names from the world of wrestling like Ric Flair, Tony Schiavone, Charlotte Flair, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, Brutus ‘The Barber’ Beefcake, and many others took to social media to react to the news.

One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.
