Jey Uso Says Bron Breakker Has A More Devastating Spear Than Roman Reigns

Jey Uso gives the devil his due when it comes to the effectiveness of Bron Breakker’s Spear.

Jey Uso is about to team with Roman Reigns for the first time ever in a standard pay-per-view tag team match. At WWE SummerSlam, the Bloodline members will take on the destructive duo of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Aside from their affiliation with Paul Heyman, three out of the four members of that match have another thing in common. Reigns, Uso, and Breakker all use the Spear as a signature maneuver.

Before adopting the move himself, Jey Uso had the displeasure of being on the receiving end of multiple Spears from both Bron Breakker and Roman Reigns. Now, he’s comparing the two. During a San Diego Comic-Con panel, Jey Uso was asked who had the most dangerous Spear between Bron Breakker and Roman Reigns. Familial loyalty aside, Uso said it was Breakker.

“I’d have to go with the young homie, Bron Breakker. You guys see it. Yeah, I’d have to give it to the young homie, though. I’d have to give it to him on that,” he said. “I mean, he’s from a generational family as well. The Steiners. His dad, my dad, raised each other’s game, and we’re doing the same with him now. So, I’m just blessed to even be up here.”

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breaker and Bronson Reed will take place during the first night of WWE SummerSlam 2025. For the first time, the annual summer spectacular will take place across two nights. Fans can check out the full Saturday card here.
