‘We Want Melo’ Trends On Social Media, Carmelo Hayes Comments

Ahead of WWE Raw, the hashtag ‘WeWantMelo’ began trending on Twitter/X. The hashtag was used for fans to voice their support for WWE superstar Carmelo Hayes.

#WeWantMelo made it into the top five trending topics under sports.

On X, Hayes commented, “If this works…lol.”

Hayes last wrestled on the July 18th episode of WWE SmackDown, losing to Aleister Black by DQ. He had been aligned with The Miz before Miz was off TV for six weeks following an attack by Jacob Fatu. When Miz returned on the July 25th episode of WWE SmackDown, Hayes was not by his side.

Carmelo Hayes was the third overall pick in 2024 WWE Draft. He has competed at three PLEs since joining the main roster, including the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble, his last PLE match.
