Stephanie Vaquer Speaks About Her Connection With WWE Audience, Credits Booker T For Reaction To Devil’s Kiss

‘The Dark Angel’ is grateful for the fans.
Stephanie Vaquer has been on WWE’s main roster for two months, and coming up at the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event in August, she’ll be challenging for the Women’s World Championship.
Vaquer’s rise in WWE was delved into when she appeared on Raw Recap. She opened up about her connection with the WWE audience.
“I need to say thank you. Thank you for everyone because I remember that my first Royal Rumble, I remember exactly what my entrance, the crowd crazy and I need to say thank you because people really made me feel so happy here and so excited and support me, love me. I’m so happy. I’m so happy with that. The crowd really support me and it’s motivation for me. It’s for training every day, it’s a big motivation. People really support my work, my job in the ring. In the beginning, I think maybe people don’t know about me, but, when you go to the ring and you pour your soul in the ring and you really — I don’t know the word in English — sorry. But it’s like, you really try to experience person or really, you pour your soul in wrestler. People (appreciate) that. So, I think for that reason, that crowd really support me because they can see my 100 percent in the ring always.”
The conversation then turned over to Vaquer’s signature ‘Devil’s Kiss’ move, which, in addition to Vaquer’s credit, was popularized by NXT commentator Booker T for the sound effects he would make while Vaquer performed the move. Those same sounds are being repeated by main roster audiences when Vaquer does the Devil’s Kiss. Vaquer expressed that she loves Booker T and loves the signature sound effects he made.
“I really miss Booker T. I will admit, I love Booker T, and I love this because he just feel, and, ‘Ah! Ah! Ah!’ And people now really feel that. So I love it and in NXT, the crowd all the time remember that and here people remember that so I love it.”
There is going to be a Triple Threat match for the WWE Women’s World Championship on night two of SummerSlam. Naomi will be defending her title against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY.
The winner of that bout will head to Clash in Paris on August 31st to defend against Vaquer.
