Drew McIntyre Reacts To Seth Rollins Cashing In On CM Punk At WWE SummerSlam: “Karma Is Indeed A Biatch”

McIntyre had a smile on his face seeing what happened to Punk.
The main event of WWE SummerSlam night one saw CM Punk challenging GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship. It concluded with Punk hitting two GTS’ on GUNTHER to win a World Title in WWE for the first time in over a decade.
Shortly after Punk’s title reign, Seth Rollins made his return. Rollins revealed that he was not injured and went on to cash in on Punk to capture the World Heavyweight Title.
During the SummerSlam post-show, Cathy Kelley interviewed Drew McIntyre, and he had a smile on his face while speaking about what happened to Punk.
“Okay, I’m gonna have to say something about this. Karma’s a hell of a thing. I’ve been watching what’s gone on on Raw with Seth (Rollins). Seth and I, professional rivals. Not like (CM) Punk and I. Seth has done exactly to Punk what Punk did to me and tonight was the cherry on top. Congratulations Seth. You deserve it, and karma is indeed a biatch.”
It was at WrestleMania 40 that, after Drew McIntyre became World Heavyweight Champion, he taunted CM Punk. Punk would go on to beat McIntyre down and ultimately set him up for Damian Priest to cash in and become World Heavyweight Champion.
