Cody Rhodes Uses ‘The View Never Changes’ And ‘Hard Times’ Promo From Dusty Rhodes In WWE SummerSlam Entrance

Cody Rhodes made his entrance at WWE SummerSlam with a little help from the voice of his father Dusty Rhodes.

Before “Kingdom” played, Dusty’s “The View Never Changes” and “Hard Times” promo played with the words showing up on the titantron.

Dusty delivered the “View Never Changes” promo in 1994 while speaking to Dustin Rhodes.

“When you walk behind and you’re not a leader, the view never changes. The view never changes. The view never changes. Don’t let me down now, cause I came back for you. For that man up there that died 10 years ago that never got the opportunity to see a real world’s champion. I’m proud of you and thak God I have you.”

Cody Rhodes challenged John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE SummerSlam.
